Welcome to Opera Tales

Since 1982, Opera Tales has provided high-quality children’s operas to performing arts organizations throughout North America. Written by professional opera singer and director John Davies, these operas for young people, based on well known fairytales, are designed to encourage an interest and enthusiasm for literature and music through musical theater.

Mr. Davies’ children’s operas are established favorites with young audiences, enjoyed by students, parents, teachers, and performers.
